    The LSESU Business Society and Singapore Society proudly present to you Singapore Sensation 2010 – a comprehensive 3-day careers trip held between 7 – 9 July 2010. The event is for a select group of 25 students and comprises visits and networking sessions with top financial institutions and prestigious professional services firms in Singapore. Now in its third year, this exclusive trip will give you a better idea of the Singapore operations of these multi-national firms, and a deeper understanding of what it would be like to work for them.     Respected on and off campus for our dedication to service, education and innovation, we are the first society at the LSE to have organised “Speed Banking”, “Banking for Beginners” as well as thematic series such as “Creating a Consultant”, “Leaders of M&A”, “Focus on Global Capital Markets” and “Innovators in Business”. We have pioneered annual careers trips to Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.

    Founded in 1996, the LSESU Business Society has developed into the largest and best-established society at the LSE. Voted ‘Best Society 2006/07’ by LSE students, it currently boasts a membership of over 2,500, is sponsored by leading City institutions and is widely recognised as the most active, professional and successful student society on campus.

    The structure of the LSESU Business Society’s membership base is highly representative of the student population; an equal gender split with significant proportion of postgraduates and students studying non finance-related degrees. Since its establishment, membership has increased exponentially, reflecting the growing desire of LSE students to gain a better understanding of the business and financial community around them.
