LSESU Business Society Logo

Founded in 1996, the London School of Economics Students’ Union Business Society has developed into the largest and best-established society at the LSE. It currently boasts a membership of over 2,500, is sponsored by leading City institutions and is widely recognised as the most active, professional and successful student society on campus at the LSE. Respected on- and off-campus for our dedication to service, education and creativity, we are the first society at the LSE to have organised annual careers trips to New York, Singapore and Hong Kong, ”Speed Banking” and other innovative and interactive events.

This year we have no less than four headline sponsors: Merrill Lynch, Citi, Goldman Sachs and Oliver Wyman. By working alongside our sponsors and other firms we have been able to offer our members unparalleled service, providing them with career and internship opportunities, networking sessions, as well as interactive workshops to develop and hone interview, assessment centre, and other essential soft skills required for success in the workplace.

The LSESU Business Society strives to provide our members, who come from different backgrounds and courses of study, a full insight into the corporate community, all that it demands and all that it has to offer. We aim to consistently reflect this in the quality of our own work, to ensure the satisfaction of our partners and the maximum benefit for our members.

Our membership represents some of the best students that the LSE has to offer. Our reputation is based on experience, expertise and in-depth understanding of both the LSE academic community’s and companies’ needs. The high level of attendance to all our events and the continued trust and satisfaction of our members and partners are testament to our success. The number of high quality individuals from LSE that apply to our partners embodies the strength of our society in boosting a firm’s profile on campus.
